Lior Posted December 9, 2023 Share Posted December 9, 2023 i am on the first Chapter of David's book and trying to figure out things that not works for me. currently i am on the section that i should shuffle a region to left. i tried what writing in the book : In the Tracks view menu bar, click the Drag pop-up menu and choose Shuffle L. (guess it changed on 10.8) also dragging above the left region as described on the book not worked and just covers the left region with the right region. i tried right click and choose shuffle L , nothing happened as seen on attached picture. i tried the key command the menu suggest and not worked too. what am i missing ? of course i can drag it to the left after the left region and move right both of them , but it seems not the right way. (guess it changed on 10.8) There are no changes to the behavior of the Shuffle modes in 10.8. It sounds like you may have both regions selected when you drag the right region over the left one? Yes, first make sure you don't have the two regions selected, then left-click and drag to the left.
