Crashing plugins. Do I uninstall or not…

We all know that bad plugins may cause Logic to crash. But if I have problems with one plugin do I need to uninstall it or is it just a matter of not using it?

Not using it is enough.

To escalate:

Open Settings -> Plugin Manager and disable it there.

To escalate further:

go to Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/PlugIns create a folder called "Components disabled" - move (hold CMD while dragging) that plugin from the "Components" folder into the "Components disabled" folder.

To escalate furthest: uninstall.

Agree with @wonshu!

Moreover: is it a plug-in that you would very much like to use? If so, is there an update from the developer? 

Otherwise, not much lost in just stopping using it.

Thanks to both @wonshu and @Dr.Socrates for confirming the obvious and logical answer that only loaded plugins can trigger a crash. For a brief moment I was misled by someone on the internet who claimed the opposite.
