Dmitry S.
In some DAWs quantization value can be bound to the grid value, but in Logic if you need let's say to write something with brush in piano roll to match the grid every time you need to check that the quantization value is the same as the grid. Is there a way to link them not to check that everytime? Thanks

The best melodies I wrote were in piano roll of Ableton Live. In Logic with use of brush, it's much more difficult to write because every time you need to check that the project's grid is the same as the quantization value, which takes attention every time. The greatest brush tool is in FL Studio, but there are limitations to setting precise tempo changes in a project which is very inconvenient. As for Logic its Piano Roll is significantly slower than in other DAWs.
oscwilde
Perhaps the Step Sequencer (Pattern region) would be a more comfortable editor for you to use in some circumstances?
