Let's say we have several midi tracks / loops in the key of C Major...If someone plays a chord the script would automatically detect and transpose the midi track to that chord and scale. Of course individual notes should be transposed slightly differently depending on if the chord is major or minor. This way logic could be used as an arranger and you could put down ideas quickly by designing the accompaniment "loops" or tracks and playing / recording the chords in real time Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Atlas007 Posted March 18 Share Posted March 18 (edited) IMHO, that would be beyond the scope of a single script… Consider that a same chord could belong to many different scales… Additionally, compositions often borrow notes ifnot chords to other (neighbour) scales.
