Smart Tempo Parameters

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if there's a feature in Logic Pro that allows me to set parameters for quantization when importing audio. Nearly all of my external loops are in the 100-130 BPM range, but when I import audio using "Smart Tempo," the detection seems random, often resulting in 3/2, 3/3, with BPMs like 200, 180, etc. Is there a way to improve this?

Thanks.

It really depend on the source of the audio. Are these audio files loops or regular audio files without any tempo/transient information embedded?

To be honest, these are simple samples that Logic usually detected quite well. I've recently switched my setup to the M2 Pro, and for some reason, all Smart Tempo starts at something above 170bpm. It seems like something that can be configured, but I haven't found it yet.
