lyghtningrod
Fueled by Rounik's video on Mac Pro I created these macros that are set up to control parameters of the various plug ins. The coffee wore off before I finished but here's what got done. I hadn't seen this thread before, so if all I did was duplicate effort, well, at least I learned something. augustusarnone
This is really an awesome idea and I love the interface. It seems to work great for recorded midi clips, but if I cable the physical input to it it doesn't work as well. Is it possible to fix this? I'm running Logic 8.0, would the upgrade help do you think? I would love to use it for live real-time performance.
Rounik
Hi augustusarnone Thanks for the kind words! Random Nature 1 is designed to work on a per channel strip basis, so it's best not to cable the Physical Input directly to it. I can be used in real-time. Remove the MIDI region(s) and make sure Logic's Transport is running. Select the Track which RN is cabled to and play some notes on your MIDI Controller. Rounik
I've released Random Nature V2 into the wild: http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=51103 It is still a note On Effect Randomizer... but with some extra cool functionality: - More compact interface - Automatic learn mode (no need to check Monitors and set the Channel or parmaeter values! - Quick button to turn All 4 randomizers ON/OFF - Full help menu in the Interface - Writes generated values to automation Would appreciate any feedback and suggestions. Thanks!
