richgilb
Complete begniner in midi but was surprised to see that the midi file recorded my pitch bend fine yet when converting to audio, it had recorded the pitch bend flat at zero. What can I do?
David Nahmani
What instrument is the MIDI file triggering, can you hear the pitch info on playback? How do you convert to audio?
richgilb
Hi David I am using GForce MTron Pro. I can hear the bend on playback in the midi file. I converted to audio by right-clicking the midi region and clicking 'export as audio file'. Then dragged it into a new track in the project. Eric Cardenas
That's strange! Maybe it's an issue with the Software Instrument. Try soloing it then press Bounce in the Toolbar. Choose a realtime bounce instead of the offline.
richgilb
Thanks, Eric. I did a toolbar bounce in offline mode previously and it didn't work. Ticking realtime instead of offline sorted it. Good news. Is this a common occurrence? Any ideas why it works like this?
Eric Cardenas
It could be something wrong with the plug-in when using offline. It could also be a condition depending on you version of Logic.
