strikingtwice
So, i've decided that I want to use a MIDI controlled effect (zotope stutter edit) on my master track. I've decided this after teh fact, and I'm assuming that now I have to reroute all of the tracks going to stereo output to now point toward this new bus for side-chaining, bla bla bla... In digital performer, I think I like the way that they implement things like this better, so I'm hoping I'm wrong. In DP, you can just insert stutter edit in any plug-in slot on an audio channel. You can then route any midi track to control it. What I want to do in logic (I believe, this is why I'm asking) requires me to now change all of the busses to something else, which really scuks because I have a bunch of other routing stuff. If anyone has any advice, or if I'm wrong, I'd love to find out. Thanks!
Atlas007
As far as I can understand, Stutter can be instantiated in Logic as an Fx. The option you describe is seemingly available in Logic, either directly on an audio, VI MIDI track, or an auxillary track. In both cases automation or remote MIDI control should also be working.
