Eric Cardenas
This bug was initially reported by user tigermaster in this thread: ctrl-alt draw a rectangle behaviour (lens) Since the nature of this anomaly has changed from prior versions of Logic Pro X to 10.1 I decided to make a clean entry. Steps to recreate behaviour Create a new project and add two tracks with a region on each one. Audio or MIDI doesn't matter. Use the zoom tool (From the Tool menu or by using the Control-Option shortcut.) to drag an area around the region on track 2 but include a small portion of the region above it by "mistake". [pic 1] Expected Results The zoomed-in area should roughly represent the area that was assigned in the previous steps. [pic 2] Actual Results The zoomed-in area represents the top region instead of the region on the second track. [pic 3] This is true as long as the selection hight doesn't exceed the hight of a track. In that case both regions will be represented.

B_Stone
This has not yet been adressed in Logic Pro X 10.2. Yeah, I should have just checked. Problem persists. Most of the time when I focus on a zoomed area, some other area shows up. Bummer.
