  1. Got it, Des. All that goes way beyond my knowledge, not gonna lie. So I will just stick with my X-Touch controlling the TBA parameters and being able to switch from master and normal, without having to give up the possibility to use the X-Touch standard functionalities. As far as MidiPipe behaviour is concerned, I simplified the idea maybe misusing the term "filtering", but damn if I know what is the main purpose of the used Pipe, after all the time you took years ago to help me through setting it, haha 😄
  2. So, since I gave up on the "X-Touch ONE + RBA dream", now I have another question, which perhaps will end up having another negative answer. Is it possible to map the only knob in the X-Touch ONE to do the same thing as the fader? The fader, however, can be set in master mode and is filtered by MidiPipe, whereas the knob cannot.
  3. @des99 Yep, I am definitely sure that it used to work, as I remember being so damn happy after we managed to set it up, years ago. I also remember automating the CC1 and CC11 through my X-Touch ONE is several projects, so I can safely say that it used to work. Unfortunately, this could be a Logic issue after the several updates that came out since then, and also due to the fact that I am not using the same Mac as before, so maybe some settings I had store there will be never replicated, so to speak. @polanoid Unfortunately, that solution wouldn't fit very well in my workflow. So, without using AQA, how would you be able to control CC1 and CC11 with my X-Touch ONE? I also use a X-Touch Compact, which is the main one I actually use to write modulation and expression with, but I also want to have another independent fader to move with my right hand when I have to do adjustments.
  4. Damn.. Still can’t believe that the solution you offered in the first topic apparently used to work, back then. It would definitely be a game changer if it could be managed to control whatever RBA parameter with the X-Touch ONE single fader.
  5. Do you guys think it is actually possible to control modulation and expression, CC1 and CC11, within TBA instead of RBA? Whatever possible solutions, I would be happy to follow all the necessary steps.
  6. I think I was on 1.7.1, when it used to work. The thing is that in my case, it doesn't even control the initial parameter for RBA. If I try learning one in RBA, it doesn't register and the one still controlled is the latest TBA one used.
  7. Hey, Des! For me, the X-TOUCH in "master mode" only works for TBA parameters. If I try to learn a RBA one, it doesn't even register. In AQA edit window, the parameters that are learned are only TBA ones, like Volume, Pan, etc. The thing is that I remember that we made it work years ago, But now that I changed my Mac, I had to do the whole process again and it doesn't work anymore for RBA, like modulation/expression, etc. Is there something we can try troubleshooting? Here's a sc of my AQA editor.
  8. Hey, everyone, Couple years ago I started this topic: and @des99 was the real MVP as he managed to unveil all the secrets of AQA, Midi routing and MidiPipe alike. I remember that we managed to make AQA work for both TBA and RBA, but now that I'm checking it again (years after) the solution that we found only works for TBA. With AQA and my X-Touch ONE in "master mode" I can only control volume, pan and stuff like that within the TBA environment, but I would really love to be able to control RBA as well, in particular modulation and expression parameters. Does anyone know how to be able to do that and get that little cherry on the top?
  9. No, I didn't do that because I am afraid of messing something up, to be honest. I am fine with just removing the app and reinstalling it again, as I already did and nothing changed, unfortunately. I just would like to know if there's ANY other workaround as this is getting pretty annoying.
  10. Hello, everyone So, a couple days ago I went ahead and deleted the sound library I had originally installed on my Mac, just because I wasn't using it at all and I just wanted that little more free space. Thing is I accidentally deleted also the Alchemy Library, which is the only one I usually played around with min a serious way. Now, every time I start Logic I get the this window and, as I try to install the sound library, it downloads it but then it say "Installation failed. Please check your internet connection". Needless to say, my internet is working just fine. I tried doing it also through the Sound Library Manager, selecting also the Alchemy library, but the issue still persists. I would like to be able to install at least the latter, but I would also just happy to not have the windows about "Simplified" or "Complete" mode popping up every time I launch Logic.
  11. Howdy, fellas I would like to know if you guys are aware of any ADSR envelope plugins. Basically, I would like to be able to change said envelope for various software instruments I may use. As many of them don't have that inner capability, so to speak. Let's say I wanna use some strings patches from SSS, and I would like, for the sake of sound design, to work on those patches being able to alter the ADSR without trying to act within Kontakt. Does somebody know of any third part plugins which can be used to achieve such purpose, or if Logic has something built-in to do so?
  12. Yep, I was kinda aware of that and that's great to have a confirmation on. I am still wondering though, if the actual finalized file coming out of Logic should be treated to some "meta data injection", let's say, hahah
  13. Hello, everyone I would like to ask you if you could kindly suggest a bullet point list to follow in order to properly assure your music is, well, definitely yours, haha. Starting from when a piece of music is finished within Logic until proper distribution to sharing and eventually selling platforms.
