marleycs1997
i managed to see my friend and we managed to eliminate the hissing sound, but it's not great at picking up my vocals, it's really quite, i don't know if that's to do with the mixer because i'm pretty sure it's a really quite mixer, i've attached pictures of how it picks up my vocals, as i've said before because of my projection i have to have the gain raised rather high
skijumptoes
Somethings not right there at all, you have gain on your Presonus, and again on the mixer/audio interface. Having your gain(s) rather high should be cooking that input. i.e. i'd be more concerned of driving it too hard. You sure everything is ok with your mic? And the most amount of gain is being applied as early up the chain as you can? i.e. on the presonus box.
marleycs1997
on the mixer my friend told me to have the gain on the at 0 then just use the gain on the presonous, i removed the presonus from it but still had the same problem. the drive is only on a tad

triplets
What happens if you talk right into the mic, right up on the grill?
