How to create Blackhole (reverb plugin) sound with Logic plugins?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I'm a big fan of Blackhole (Eventide, right now on sale for $29,- which is stupidly cheap and a no-brainer to get).

Just out of curiosity I would like to get those kind of sounds with Logics built-in plugins but I can't see how to do it.

Does anyone have a good idea of how to set this up? If it's even possible.

-H

Hello.

Not like the real thing but you can achieve some interesting shimmering things with, in the order:

  1. Silververb
  2. Stereo Delay
  3. Pitch Shifter
  4. and an other Silververb

You can manipulates the various parameters of those basic plugins and it's very sober on CPU

I changed it a bit. I set the first pitch shifter to 100% and added another one last in the chain also at 100% but this one pitches it down to the original pitch again. Because tonally the pitch shifting (obviously...) creates some tonal rub. That can be nice, but this way, I'm compensating for it again. But it creates some more Schmutz in the delay / reverb chain.
