How do I get sound from to my interface from Logic?

So all has been fine until today, got a lovely new Apollo interface, all registered and installed, all good. can get a signal from guitar input, so its working fine.

However, I just cant get any sound from Logic to pass through it, nor from quicktime etc...

Its been so long since I installed something new, Do I need set something on my Macbook Pro Audio Midi set up?    

 

Any advice appreciated!

Is the Apollo selected as your output device under Logic pro > Preferences > Audio?

Yes, it is David.

Even Quick Time isnt working

Let's keep the troubleshooting focused on Logic Pro first. So in Logic Pro, if you click an Apple Loop in the Loop browser in a new empty project, you can't hear anything?

Is Software Monitoring enabled in Logic's preferences?

Do you see the levels meters active on your Stereo Out in Logic Pro? If you do then I would recommend you look at your Apollo software and hardware, something must be muted there.

I checked, where is it? I looked under audio in preferences

Click the "General" tab in your audio preferences.

Yeah The meters show in stereo out in Logic, but nothing showing in UA Apollo console.

If record enable a track in Logic theres no meter showing, but I can see and hear it on the Apollo

Thank you for your kind help,  I have sorted it, there was no output assigned in the i/o Matrix of the UA Console. doh...

All fine now.

beautiful new interface btw. Apollo Twin x QUAD.
