Indeed. I'm a long time user/owner of Panorama P-series devices.
Love 'em and am looking forward to the CS12.
As above, their integration just works out of the box and is better than MCU in some respects.
I also use an iPad app called ONE Control Pro as it can be used to control a second group or zone.
Other controller keyboards I have can also be used for a limited amount of stuff (transport, level/pan/mute/solo, and smart controls, etc.) but advanced/full plug-in control is really only doable on P-series or more complete MCU devices/apps.
Even on these devices, control is modal...so you switch to "mixer" or "plug-in" or "instrument" etc. mode to work with DAW parameters within this modal grouping.
