globet
Apple Loops adapts to the project tempo and key. The issue here is the regarding the key. If the Apple Loop is in G and your project is C minor, the loop will not adapt to it, it will be changed to G minor and vice versa. Is there any way around this? Logic cannot change the mode (major or minor) of an Apple Loop to follow the mode of the project. It only transpose the loop so that it plays with the correct root key. So if you have a major Apple Loop (in any key) and import it in a project that is set to C minor, the loop will play in C major. If you want a major loop to play in its relative minor key, for example if you want your major loops to play in E♭ major when the project key is C minor (so all the notes are in the same scale - which does not mean that it will necessary work musically), then you can use the Transpose parameter in the region inspector to play the loop +3 semitones higher. globet
Relative minor and major isn’t the issue as you can transpose it easily. It’s when your project is in a minor key but the Apple Loop you want to use is in a major key that not relative to your project ie project is in C minor but I want to use a G Major Apple Loop and would like to change it to C minor. In this case transposing up and down by semitones doesn’t work.

This isn't possible, you can't change modes, meaning you cannot change a major loop to a minor loop.
globet
Is there a way to make Apple Loops _not adapt to the project key? If you input an audio sample that's not an Apple Loop, it doesn't get transpose to the key of the project. Maybe change the Apple Loops .aif file to a different format? Loops created as 'One-shot' do not follow tempo. If you mean an existing Apple Loops that is already following tempo, then you would have to disable "Follow Tempo & Pitch" in the region inspector, then use the Transpose parameter as needed to change the pitch of the loop.
