David Nahmani
Cool, I like the guitar (which looks too big though?) and the snare!
xs4is
Cool, I like the guitar (which looks too big though?) and the snare! Thanks David. That means a lot. I haven't had a chance to tell you, but I dig the new look of the forum too. All the icons I pulled right out of the icon folder and I know it works. I was just as shocked as you to see that it was as big as it is. The guitar is a Rainsong. I'm not sure what the snare is, I pulled it off of google because I really liked the appearance of it. That dude with the horns is me. LOL! X

The Note
Is there a way to attach the icon to a plugin? For example: When you start Battery, you'll see the Battery icon.

The closest you can come to that is to have it pre-loaded in your autoload. X

Zicky
you have to put them into logic package. i've done this way:control+click on logic application>show package content>content>resource>icon(or images i don't remeber). i named them just with number (12.png). it must work! I didnt even dig that deep and mine works fine 1. Go to Library/Application Support/Logic There should be an image folder in there, if not, then: 2. Make a folder on your desktop named "images". go inside that folder and make another one called "icons". Drag this folder to the above location. You will be promted for your system password (folder is protected) 3. Drag your numbered icons into this folder and then start Logic. Done! EDIT: make sure you drop the "images" folder into Application Support/Logic Thx..a lot...it all worked...., but I didn't realize that it would replace the old ones, but that's ok...... xs4is
The original icons are still there if you haven't deleted them. So if there is a stock icon that you like, then just figure out what number it is and don't name any of your new icons that number. mvferrigno
Hey everyone, great icons but is there a way to delete some of the icons that logic comes with? I moved them out of the icons folder but they show up, looking very strange. Help would be greatly appreciated.
xs4is
You need to replace them with another image (even if it's just a transparent image) with the same name, e.g., 120.png. X

I believe most of those were designed by yourself! http://logicprohelp.com/icons.php I'm speechless! That is friggin awesome. As for my disappearance, interestingly enough I have moved my production over to Live 6 as I found I could work a lot quicker (especially for remixes and mash-ups) But Logic 8 has definitely piqued my curiosity. Looks like its time for me to break my piggy bank again
