Troubles downloading Project Files in Logic X 10.4

Dear Sir (s)

I just bought your excellent book ‘LOGIC PRO X 10.4 (David NAHMANI) and then I downloaded the included Project files and Media from the site ‘www.peachpit.com’. And yet I can’t download the Project Files from the ‘Lessons’ in Logic Pro X 10.4.

For example, when I try from ‘File’ --- ‘Open’ --- ‘Logic Pro X Files’ --- ‘Lessons’ --- ‘2 Get Dancing.logicx’ (and the others files, too), the following dialog box appears: “The document … could not be opened” – OK.

When I try to open the files pushing directly on them from the folder ‘Lessons’, LOGIC PRO X (or MAC) shows: “ The operation coud not be completed – No other information is available about the problem”. And I’m obliged to answer only OK, again. And it isn’t a good thing, really. And then it all goes away.

Please could help me to resolve this annoying problem?

You have 2 choices. 1st is open the files that are contained in the media folder. 2nd is unzip the Lessons.zip file. It will create a Lesson 2 folder with the correct alias files in it.

When I unzip the lessons.zip, the .logicx files are still aliases and cannot be opened. When I Get Info I see that they are pointed to files on your system and not included in the .dmg. Can you help?
