Music Guy
Hi everyone, I have a live loop playing. I want to be able to watch these midi notes change while recording other tracks. So, I click on the loop to open in the edit window. So far so good. However, when press the first note of the new recording track, the focus in the edit window shifts to the recording Midi track. I don't want this. I want to be able to see the changes of the loop. (and I need it to loop in the edit window with the play head following) I have tried unlinking, does not help. I have tried shift clicking all tracks and only some tracks, no go. Halp! 🙂 MG Edited September 20, 2023 by Music Guy error
David Nahmani
You would have to first start the recording then click the name of the loop you want displayed in the Piano Roll to see its notes. You may then have to scroll the Piano Roll vertically so that it displays the correct pitch range, where the notes are. Not exactly practical, but it's the only way to do it in Logic Pro as far as I know.
