When recording vocals, if I sustain a note above a certain pitch (around A5) the sound cuts out entirely at that frequency and above and then returns when I sing below that note. I have replicated it with a condenser mic and a dynamic mic, and different mic cables. To ensure it wasn't a corrupted file, I started a new file with only one track and no plug-ins. Same thing. At the point when the sound cuts out, the waveform also is flat. I am running logic pro 10.8.1 on a 2023 mac mini with 16GB memory M2 chip sonoma 14.4.1. Any thoughts? I've included a screenshot and portion of the audio file.
