bdolny
Is 'preview sample in ultrabeat voice' fixed? That works as expected for me in 9.1.6 on Lion. Just installed newest upgrade and there is definately something wrong with 'preview sample in ultrabeat voice' option. Compared to similar option in exs mk2 ultrabeat doesn't play sample accordingly to voice's pitch, filter & amp settings.
Glenn L.
I did the 'duplicate older version and re-name' trick with 9.1.3. Upon loading my current project, about 10 audio tracks, with, as yet, minimal plugins, 9.1.7 took longer to load, briefly giving me the beach ball. 9.1.3 doesn't do this. It loads in seconds. jrocks4jc
ever since i updated to logic pro 9.1.7 my plugins keep disappearing when i click on them . And NO im not hitting option + click. im just clicking them to open them and they just vanish. NOt even a double click, just a simple click and their gone. what the hell
jacenty
Anyone else seeing delay compensation issues? Drumagog and MAutoVolume are causing some serious delays. I have to bounce my tracks and align by hand. Also, I'm surprised Apple no longer has links for downloading previous releases. Support page only has latest and 9.1. Any one has a link to 9.1.6? Remote Vision
9.1.7 has broken my CamelPhat plugin. They're working on a fix, but I'm desperate to downgrade to Logic 9.1.6. I cannot find it anywhere. Also looking for a link to the 9.1.6 - it must be somewhere on Apple's site, no?

I updated to 9.1.7 on OS 10.7.3 and it still works as expected. I have just done several tests there. However, I have had isolated problems like this before with Logic where people with the same version and OS did not.
emilenitrate
Just updated to 9.1.7, still having the same beach ball issue that I was with 9.1.6. My solution is still Little Snitch. - Emile
ruari
I wonder if they've fixed this little one? Ultrabeat LFOs will not sync correctly
lowski
The 'Preview Sample in Ultrabeat' function still doesn't work in 9.1.
AMD
The 'Preview Sample in Ultrabeat' function still doesn't work in 9.1.7 As mentioned in my previous post. It works for me and it did as well in 9.1.6. Very strange.
jacenty
Seriously, isn't anyone getting delay compensation issues? Drumagog is just going crazy for me.
AMD
Seriously, isn't anyone getting delay compensation issues? Drumagog is just going crazy for me. Hi. I don't have drumagog but so far everything is ok as far as I can see. I haven't had any issues.
logic8mine
Indeed, I was a little premature. My audio/MIDI sync issues and errors persist in 9.1.7. I guess the next step is finding my snow leopard cd and rolling back.

steveastanga
Are any of you guys getting massive spikes on one thread of your CPU's since updating?
theambertheatre
Are any of you guys getting massive spikes on one thread of your CPU's since updating? Yes. It may have something to do with running the 32bit bridge. The spikes and cpu use appear to go down when I unload any 32bit plug ins. steveastanga
I've gone back to 9.1.6 and it's resolved totally. I think I'll wait for Apple to fix it 'cause I need my 32 bit bridge until my Waves plug-ins run on 64 bit.

steveastanga
Presumably, you have your system backed up by TIme Machine. If so, it's simple. Here a link to Apple's guide on Time Machine: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1427 .... refer to the section on 'recovering files and folders' This includes older versions of applications. It is excellent. I had never done it before and I followed there guide and re-installed Logic, (residing in the applications folder of course). I, somewhat bravely, opted for the 'delete original' option, and it worked a treat. When I opened up Logic, my project was fine, Logic was at 9.1.6 and, the creme de la creme, the CPU was as good as gold. Good luck.
iMacCartney
Ok, thanks. I will try to do that later in the evening.

steveastanga
I'm sure it is, but it's not for me while it's sending my CPU through the ceiling. It needs fixing p.d.q., but Apple are pretty good at stuff like that.

I re-stored 9.1.6 from TimeMachine backupdisk, move 9.1.7 to trash, tried to open 9.1.6 but everytime it stopped to "AUnet receive" when Logic was searching plugins. Had to force quit Logic several times and re-install 9.1.7 again to continue the project
steveastanga
I've had that happen on occasions for the last year or so. It's never really bothered me because it always opens the second time. It's never happened twice consecutively. Something to do with that wretched 32 bit bridge. Good luck with 9.1.7. My CPU has been as good as gold all weekend, so I"m sticking with 6 for the time being.

hypnotik
Rolled back to SL because of the sluggishness GUI viewtopic.php?f=1&t=78028&p=430573&hilit=slow+gui#p430573 Now rolled back to 9.1.6 since i'm encoutering beach ball issues while zooming on the arrange window! 9.1.6 still rock solid But WTF Apple why don't you test your apps ??? So little hardware to support vs PC world, that's a shame...
skylerdavid
Anyone else getting the following errors when you "Save As" ? "Saving spool file / Entry not in queue Result code = -1 File = Project File Backups" "Insufficient access privileges for the operation Result code = -5000 File = Project File Backups" These were Locked Logic Files created on 9.1.5 and i get this error after I try to "Save As". The Logic files have both Audio & Midi. I even closed the project saved on 9.1.7, locked it, then tried opening and "Save As" again, same issue. Had some friends try this with the same result. Anyone else experience this?
