Logic Pro X projects not opening: "The Operation Could Not Be Completed - No Other Information Is Available About the Problem"

Really hoping someone can help me fix this problem. 5 years of work are hanging in the balance here.
I recently had to get my external HD (LaCie) recoovered as the drive stopped showing up on my laptop. Files appeared to be recovered and were backed-up onto a new drive.

While the recovery appeared to be success (all original files now show up with their corresponding file sizs), I am now unable to open any of the Logic Projects I had saved on the drive after transferring onto my Desktop.

I am using the same computer as before - MacOS High Sierra version 10.13

After transferring a Logic Pro X Project from my drive to the computer, I receive the message: "The Operation Could Not Be Completed - No Other Information Is Available About the Problem"

When I expand the project to 'show project contents' I see the folders and waveforms, but am unable to open the waveforms, too, and the same error message shows up.

I have tried creating a new logic project and copying and pasting the folders into a new session to no avail.

Another thing I noticed is that if I use textedit to open the PronjectInformation.plist file located in the 'Resources' folder, the text within does not show up with any legible info like it does with other Logic Sessions that aren't corrupted.

Is there anyone out there that can help me or suggest other steps?

Thank you!

It sounds like the recovery process, whatever that was, was not at all successful if none of the files can be opened. If you try and play the audio files contained in the projects, do they play?

No. The same error message is shown.

Ok, so the recovery was not successful. What did you do to recover the files? Did you do this? Did you use an app? Or did you employ a Mac-specialist company to recover the data?

I don't know what you mean by "the same error message shows up" - when you select one of the audio files in Finder, and press the space bar to preview it, are you saying you get the message "The Operation Could Not Be Completed - No Other Information Is Available About the Problem" from Finder?

Do you still have the drive, and does it power up?
