Logic Pro X Recording Preferences not available

Any idea why I don't see the overall Recording Preferences?
The PROJECT Recording Preferences are available but only for MIDI recordings.
Is there a shortcut to record, let's say, 3 instances of the bas guitar?
Because that's a setting that has been changed somehow but I can't restore it now.
Now he overwrites every new instance of a recording.

Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Are you looking at Logic's global Settings, or the (separate) Project Settings menus?

What version of Logic is this? It looks like an older version and the global recording preferences/settings appeared only in a more recent version.

I worked with version 9 before this one.
As I recall correctly it had that feature too.

There are no recording preferences in Logic 9 (see screenshot below) or in Logic 10.0, 10.1 and 10.2. The "Recording" tab was added to the Preferences starting in Logic Pro 10.3:

OK, almost solved. 

But it's still possible to record multiple instances in one track.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. You can record multiple takes over each other to have them packed inside a take folder, if that's what you mean? That should be the default behavior.
