You could bring it into Sampler or Quick Sampler and play it on a different key or fine-tune it to get the desired speed.
Phil.c
This is the situation David, I'm not a pianist but I'm writing George Martin's "In my life" piano solo to midi, GM couldn't play it at the right speed so he halved it, played and recorded it, it was then perfect when played at the correct speed. I've halved the original recordings speed which is on a Mackie HDR 24/96, the only way to do this on the HDR is by the jog button and pressing fast forward five times as the slowing down is stepped) this was recorded onto a Logic track, so now I can work out the piano midi at half speed. This done, you would think that by recording the half speed midi piano solo back onto the HDR and then by doing the reverse with the jog button and fast forward, that the audio would now be in pitch and at the right speed...well, it's in perfect normal pitch as the original recording but the tempo is too slow, even though it's in pitch??? I'm just looking for a way around this?
