JamesBRey
HI. Sorry for this basic question if it has been covered before but could not find anything in search and am a newbie on Logic 10.8 so this is all new to me ... Just looking to pan one element of a Logic drum designer kit - the cowbell in this case. Found a level mixer for the separate elements but no pan. Is it possible and if so, where? This is in an already almost finished composition so do not want to add new channel strips or anything if possible. Thanks. - jr
Solution polanoid Posted December 9, 2023 Solution Share Posted December 9, 2023 Use the Multi Output version of Drum Kit designer. Then you can click the little “+” button on the bottom of the channel strip in the Mixer to create additional output auxes for the single drum instruments. Those can be panned independently.

JamesBRey
Hi. I have a follow up to this question. I am now using the Latin drum kit in DRUMMER which is coming from "sampler" so I am not able to choose MULTI OUT as in DRUM KIT DESIGNER to pan drum elements separately like was explained above. Is there a way to do this? Thanks. - j
oscwilde
You can choose a multi out version of Sampler, as per DKD. https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/logicpro/lgcp4ff5d47e/mac You also have the option of specifying pan (and outputs, if you wish) in Sampler's edit panes. https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/logicpro/lgcp420be8ac/mac
