Mixing or Mastering issue. Instrument sounds isn’t clear and crisp.

The instrument sounds on our track isn’t clear and “punchy” as it should be. We did EQ on every track but it’s still a bit “muddy”. I’ve noticed that the software instruments used also have reverb on it, should all of it be turned off and use Bus Sends if we want any reverb?

Any other options?

That’s definitely something I would try at first…

M/S instead of L/R stereo on some outputs could yield interesting results…
