What to Expect from Deleting Cache File

Hello. Sonarworks Sound Reference ID freezes Logic every time I switch Project Alternatives. Sonarworks customer support suggests deleting the Logic cache file - com.apple.audiounits.cache 

How will this affect previous mixes, sessions, plug-ins, etc. Will I lose settings, etc?

Appreciate any info.

Logic will simply re-scan all your audio unit plug-ins upon next start, that's all
