I don't have any pictures of my working space but I took a picture of the contents of my carry on bag I bring when touring or doing freelancing studio work..

The NES seals the deal for me!

It's not just for show either, got the midines plugged in on the picture and I also have a PowerPak!

el-bo: On the noise side of things - ALOT OF FUN.

Finally an updated pict of my homestudio, which I'm very proud about:

Now, on my TS12 ("The Old Lady") I've coupled a great MOTU 24 I/O and a gorgeous MacPro ... and I've reached the peace of the senses :D

lagerfeldt ... wow that is frickn' amazing, i can sense the good vibe from the just the picture =)

kraze ... i'm jealous, i gave my kp3 to this guy who helped me move from NYC to Philly ... i miss it terribly. I gave to him on a whim cause well ... he stopped complaining

Hof .. are those m-audio's ... if so, which one's i've had really bad luck with my Tannoy Reveal 6D's

sweet ... :P i love looking at gear porn =) :P

i should be picking up my Tannoy at the shop this week and hopefully will get my digi003 back from a friend (his broke and well, being a good friend a let him borrow it till his is fixed ... i don't make $ from recording but he does, it's his sole job sooooo ... )

... the m-audio's are the weakest point on my setup: I'm searching for something else but I know really know that type/model/manufacturer. I need to try and retry much more models as possible, before to buy it... in the meantime, i'll continue with my m-audio :-)

My new studio setup. KISS. MacBookPro 13", Axiom Keyboard, Apogee One. Logic. Headphones + mouse. That's it.

This is from the 'Na Pali' studios, i.e. Northern Kauai as we speak.

woot...someone with an apogee 'one'...how's that working out for you ???...i'm really interested in it

Hey Dankin, LOVE my Focals! I can't imagine you not flipping over them. When I first set them up in my room (on loan for demo), I thought they needed more low end, so I also demoed the matching sub. HOWEVER, I still didn't have the acoustic treatment installed. I promptly returned the sub when I discovered how much bottom end the Twins really have once my room was treated. Big difference that stuff makes! Check with Ian at Rack & Roll down on music row. He'll set you up with a pair to demo at your own place. He's who I bought mine from.

  • 2 weeks later...

this is what i've been waiting for over four years; a studio space I can work in with 100% functioning gear and a powerful computer that can handle plugins like BFD2, Synthogy's Ivory.

i dropped out of a very good school to follow my dreams, and the past few years since doing so have not been easy. (but hey, i know that i'm not the only one.) I have to say this ... i've had far too many technical difficulties.

I'm just a girl that's trying to do what has seemed like the impossible ... completely produce an indie rock/pop/new wave/shoegaze .. whatever you want to label it ... record.

so, without further ado ... i'm super super psyched to share these with you guys and gals :-)

I used to have a Studio Electronics MIDI Moog (the rack mount moog). It sounded awesome, but it was before patch storage was possible. There were paper templates that you marked to save sounds you liked.

Also, seeing your Prophet 600 brought back momories of my 1st synthesizer, the Prophet T-8. Like you mentioned doing, I sold it one time when times were tight. Wow! I wish I still had that thing. It was so warm sounding!

Sweet. All that's missing is a MemoryMoog :) I sure wish I'd never sold mine.
