Startover
I probably get the award for the most embarrassing setup. My natural abilities don't justify the extra expenses, so I keep it pretty bare. That cheap audio interface was given to me by a friend. I never really needed it. I had put it up on craigslist before, but it never sold. I pretty much just use it as an extension for my headphones so the cable doesn't get in the way, hah. It's bare, but this little area gets me away from all the stress in the world. el-bo
I probably get the award for the most embarrassing setup it's amazing how perspectives get skewed....not long ago, you'd need thousands upon thousands upon thousands of pounds worth of equipment invested in multiple metal boxes and analogue machines to still not get close to the functionality that you have in front of you, within those few units it's a great time to be a musician have fun

I apologize. What I meant about my setup was that it was very minimal compared to others who have shown their pics. Absolutely functional, but minimal. No way am I disregarding what I own, as it's one of the best things ever to happen to me.

Too much gear distracts from the main job in a studio, do music. A bare setup is perfect, works fine. Can't exactly complain about lack of tools nowadays with a Logic setup + keyboard. pranaearth
Here is my humble studio. Tucked away in a closet, and brought out when needed are a WX5, XL-7, Trigger Finger, Alpha Track, Key Studio 25, Firebox, Mini MS20 controller, MXL V69 ME. I like an uncluttered workspace, and do most of my work in the box. Also, in the other rooms are my guitars, and all sorts of woodwind instruments. Rev. Juda Sleaze
Just in case anyone was getting jealous of these awesome setups, here's my humble home studio addition: Most important are the morale-boosting oversized tea and beer receptacles. The beer and smokes help to filter out the insane dub-delay reverb going on in my flat... Or do they create it?
tommy-lees-evil-twin
These studios are amazing! Just shows that you dont need anything huge to have a great studio. This is by far the best part about this site. Getting and first hand tour of all your killer, kick ass places where you creat the most amazing thing in the world MUSIC! THANK YOU EVERYONE! Otispondscum
Well here's a little revamping of my previously posted little studio nook now turned into my little guitar workstation nook. Suits me well, although I gotta say... kinda bummy compared to these other mouth-watering mega-studios you monsters have been posting.
