Dybbuk
Hi, probably a quick one but... For a video game I often work with spoken text and 10min+ audio files I receive from the voice actors. I then sort out different words or new approaches from the actor. Which leads into me chopping up the file and end up with many little parts. Question: Is there a shortcut or function to mark all samples and send each sample to a different audio track? That i dont have to move every single sample myself? This will help since I do have to work on the individual samples and it also helps exporting each sample by track later. Thanks and kind regards :)
Dan Banan
Hi there! To me it sounds the easiest way would be to create a Sampler instrument from those parts. You can of course open it as a Multi-Output if you want to send the words to different aux channels for different sound mangling operations. Dybbuk
I want to achieve it without a sampler or take folder if possible. My current workaround is: 1. creating X audio tracks 2. select the next audiotrack via arrow keys 3. marking one of the samples with a mouse click 4. hitting control-shift-t 5. repeat 2 to 4 until done but it is a bit of a pain if you have 30+ samples ^^
Solution Dan Banan Posted March 27 Solution Share Posted March 27 Oh, I see, that sounds tiring. Would this work better ?
David Nahmani
Yes or similar to @Dan Banan's last suggestion, just drag and drop the audio files to a track and you'll get that dialog pop up asking you if you want to place each file on its own track.
Dybbuk
Perfect! That works way better 😄 Thank you!
