Ashermusic
True, des. Me for instance, I don't give a big rat's hiney about more and/or custom colors but I will cheer every enhancement to the Score Editor and the EXS-24.
Wolfie2112
No one in particular. I just find it ridiculous when there are people saying they work in Logic daily, at a professional level, but have modest systems and peripherals. If it works for them, great, but I honestly don't see how they can pull off high level work and then blame Apple for their lack of productivity, etc. As for yourself, not sure if you're actually an audio engineer (whatever that means), but running an i5 with 8GB Ram these days is a fart in the wind. You like to find things ridiculous do you? Spend a lot of your free time doing that? Chill that attitude dude. I'm not even going to bother explaining myself in detail, my post was easy to understand....and I hope you guys get by professionally with those specs, really. You guys are right, I'm wrong. I have an attitude because I don't have Logic issues, and I love Apple. Whheeee..
Cocker
Brilliant They seem to have removed the ability for me to remove the metronome track from the Solo Buss Anyone know how to do this? I used to just click the S button to remove the red slash. Now this just solos the metronome track , including it with my other solo'd tracks Which it was already doing anyways. Just in case you're wondering what I'm talking about. Here is a screen grab By removing the slash, the click will no longer be heard when a track is solo'd But I can no longer remove the slash http://i.imgur.com/hp24PaF.png
Atlas007
They are in solo-safe mode. To remove the slash (and un-solo-safe them), just Ctrl-click on them. Ctrl-clicking again on them will re-establish their solo-safe mode again.

The computer auto updated over the weekend.
triplets
This solo-safe is obviously a new feature of the mixer then. Not a new feature. Happens when there's no Prelisten audio object on track 256. Check the Environment window and look for the Prelisten track that should have the solo-safe enabled when that track exists. If you don't have one you have to create it, otherwise it will show up on every highest number track you create. Or you enable it by Control clicking the Solo button. The Logic basic new template has it.

fisherking
Does anyone else have this graphic glitch in 10.3.2 ? is it a one-time thing or consistent? have you rebooted?
HoraceWimp
very strange indeed - it happens on most of my projects, but not on all. The reason for the overlapping seems to be that on some project appears a second on/off switch, that can not be disabled in track header settings. I cannot not see any relationship between the project settings itself, creation date etc. and this behaviour. I even opened a song that was made in a different studio and it showed the same graphic issue. Not a big deal for me, but strange. No one else ? overlapping text second ON/OFF switch
maceasy
Is it because these are projects made in an older version of Logic, i.e. before some of these buttons were implemented?
HoraceWimp
All of the projects were created in older versions, some in 10.2.4, some older, some in 10.3.1 - but i see no correlation between the creation and this behaviour. On some older projects it occurs, on some not - and so for the newer ones. but its true, it is OK on brand new projects that i create from scratch in 10.3.2. Not a big problem, i can live with it. But it would be interesting to know, if anyone else has the same experience - or i am the only one ?
HoraceWimp
and i forgot to say, the text overlapping depends on the size of the track header, it is possible to get rid of it by dragging it right.

I've never heard of this ability before. What is a 'relative' velocity line? It's where you draw a diagonal line (as if you want to create a crescendo for example), and instead of a straight line of increasing velocity values, they still ramp up, but keep their relative velocity to each other. The Beatsmith
I'm getting a strange issue with a current project in 10.3.2 - the mixer has become 'small' and I can't vertically stretch out the mixer pane to see the whole thing. I can change screen sets and then make that one look how I want, but the mixer invariably ends up 'snapping' back to this size. I can scroll around the mixer, but it's very frustrating. The project isn't new, so it's been through a few iterations of Logic. Doesn't seem to happen to any other projects I've tried so far, but I've mainly been working on this one since 10.3.2 came out. Yes, I know this project is very messy!
